I don't read previews, always makes it less fun to read the actual thing, so I ain't saying anything until it actually comes out.

Come ONNNN. It's a good preview.
Did you get the sketchbook? My local didn't order it.
I like J.G. Jones's art, to an extent. But I don't think he should just go in and redisign everything. That's silly.
Also, are you familiar with Mr. Miracle? Did you read "Death of the New Gods?"
If the Gods are being reborn why is Shilo Norman resuming his role as Mr. Miracle (formerly an apprentice, was lead role in Morrison's mini) instead of Scott Free?
It's just a lame attempt at getting another african-american character, I say.

Nope to sketchbook and nope to death of the new gods, I skipped anything Countdown related.

Well, that was smart.
One good thing did come out of Countdown (I guess two, because Monarch being a badass was pretty cool)
was the Orion vs. Darkseid battle in issue 2.
I say pick that issue up. Great art, GREAT battle.
Orion wins, and apparently kills Darkseid...
there came a time, when the NEW Gods died...

Gotta be honest, wasn't that impressed by this.
Well, thats kinda bullshit. The art was amazing and that was worth the price. But the plot didn't really grab me. I'll still keep reading, though.

Yeah, that's Morrison for you. I don't know what to think, either.
Final Crisis notes: SPOILERS AHEAD!
First off, forget Countdown and Death of the New Gods happened, apparently.
Orion killed Darkseid in Countdown.
Darkseid was reborn in fire, in DC Universe Zero.
Orion shows up on Earth all beaten up, saying that Heaven lost a battle. IE the New Gods lost.
Darkside is on Earth in Human form, as Dark Side. He has the Anti-Life Equation. He mentions that he "fell" and human bodies can only take so much. He says there was a war, and Evil won.
Green Lanterns are FINALLY alerted to the new gods dying. 1011=Deicide. What about the other 100 Gods that died? Some were on Earth.
The Black Racer is hovering above Turpin. He's the angel of death in the DCU.
Metron is back, too, and he goes to the past to give Anthro the knowledge to survive, including fire.
The Justice League do NOTHING.
The Monitors finally start Monitoring, and Monitor Bob Solomon or whatever his name is, is up to something.
Nix Uotan, the Monitor from Earth 51, who lost his Earth TWICE to conflict, is turned into a normal human being.
Libra snags Martian Manhunter with no problem, and The Human Flame looks like a bitch after his appearance in JLA. He's on the cell phone, very Mark Millar Ultimates-esque.
Libra kills Martian Manhunter in one panel, showing the villains that he's not fucking around.
Supervillains use profanity to show how "evil" they are.
This is tying into Seven Soldiers: Mister Miracle,
the JLA Arc Rock of Ages
It's basically those two storylines combined.
And here's another thing:
Libra is Barry Allen.
