The scene? A shady alleyway, in the Hell's Kitchen area of New York City, New York.
Not the new cleaned up Michael Bloomberg Hell's Kitchen.
Not even Rudy's HK.
Definitely not Gordon Ramsay's Hell's Kitchen.
It's the nasty, dirty, 1980's version.
It is indeed a kitchen that feeds the maw of the unfortunate souls who have fallen to hell.
And it is where Dave Dangerously, our hero, stands, in the cold night. The breath seen as he breathes in and out. Heavily.
Arms folded across his torso, he leans against a wall. Facing away from the camera. The camera comes in slightly askew, as it approaches The Hardcore Icon. The Most Dangerous Man in Wrestling...
He speaks.
Dave Dangerously: Reinvention. I know it. Pretty well. Stutterin' Dave Dudley. Hardcore Icon Dave Dudley. Good Guy Dave Dudley. Super Fuckin' Hero. Evil Corporate Dave Dudley. You see, Dave Dangerously is the most dangerous man in wrestling for ONE REASON.

He FEARS NOT.
Hawk. You are the avatar of war? You are on a mission? Bring it on.
Dove. You want to warn me about Hawk, saying you can't stop him forever? Well don't even try anymore. I will take the brunt of your force.
See, I'm going to make both of us famous.
Me, I'll be famous for winning what is going to be one of the greatest hardcore matches in history.

You and Dove will be famous for being full of broken glass, barely able to walk out of the arena.
I am THE HARDCORE ICON. And it's time to re-affirm this fact. You take your tables match and I'll up the ante. instead of 2 out of 3 tables match I propose a 3 OUT OF 5 GLASS TABLES match.
And it may be 2 on 1 in this match, but I already feel like I have the advantage.
