Clan Of Xymox rules. That is all.
New Dr. Who this month. Yes I'm a sci fi geek sue me.
I am seriously debating finding a good comic to read, I would welcome a recomendation for something more obscure that does not have the words Batman, Superman, X-Men and Spiderman in it..I'm afraid my perception would be based on movies, and my memories of reading them as a kid.
Go get THE RAID: REDEMPTION. I'll wait. Watch it. I'll wait some more. Your welcome, by far the best martial arts movie EVER.
Any thoughts on Bioschock: Infinte? Is it worth buying at launch or should I wait cause I'm a cheap bastard.
Speaking of games stay away from Aliens: Colonial Marines. It's amazing to see that a franchise that screams video game has managed to fuck it up so badly. Strange that the same game company gave us Borderlands has managed to cock up this game.
Welp back to NCIS because I'm a dork like that....

Man
Remind me of this comics jumping off point for later. Daddy'll take care of you on that one. I'm too tired right now and my fucks have been given all away.

So if you only read 1 comic, it should be Saga. Do me a favor and check it out. It's pretty good stuff.
DC is kinda sucking since the New 52 Reboot. Once Geoff Johns leaves the Green Lantern titles, I'll be dropping those. Batman is great, The Justice League books are great, and...believe it or not, Aquaman is one of the best that DC is doing.
Marvel did their Marvel NOW! Campaign/relaunch, and it has been really hurting my pocketbook.
They relaunched with new 1's, or new creative teams almost all of their books. Not a reboot, but a new jumping on point. They're all pretty damn good, some of the best being: FF and Fantastic Four, Avengers Academy, Avengers and New Avengers, Nova, All New X-Men, and next week Guardians of the Galaxy premiers.
Superior Spidey has been pretty good, I'm sure you read that in the media.
They're starting their new event - Age of Ultron, they're 2 issues in you can probably catch up.
As for the indies, I am reading Saga, Fatale, Bedlam, The Walking Dead, and Hellboy in Hell.
It's actually a pretty good time for comics right now...just not so much DC comics. They had some great stuff early on in the new 52, but a lot of the writers and artists left the books to do other books, and the new teams aren't that great.(sorry, Swamp Thing and Animal Man.)
If you want fun sci-fi/drama, like a space type Game of Thrones, Saga.
If you want The Walking Dead...The Walking Dead.
If you want Noir, Fatale or Hellboy in Hell.
If you want Horror, Bedlam.
If you want a team superhero book, Avengers.
If you want superhero comedy, FF.
The flagship book of Marvel right now is Uncanny Avengers - the Avengers/X-Men squad book. That might be a good place to start...

Yay. Months late on the discussion.
Infinite looks sweet. I'm also a cheap bastard...don't buy anything until it's $20 or less. I'm years behind on gaming anyway. Just playing Demon's Souls now...it came out in like 2009. Sheesh.
Anyone watch Game of Thrones? Great, fucked up shit.
