What are your favorite reads? I would say mine are 1984 by George Orwell, Watership Down by Richard Adams, and Trinity by Leon Uris.

'Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy' series, easily my favorite. Others that I love and reread alot, 'Prozac Nation' and 'More, Now, Again' by Elizabeth Wurtzel, and the Harry Potter series.
Of course, since I have a vag, I do read chick lit. And none of you would know/care about any of that. Most of the books on my bookshelf are not heavy hitters. Life and the world suck enough, and make me think enough. I like books to escape.
Although Dan keeps telling me what I should read, and I never do. I'll have to start stealing books from him.

You are goddamn right about Neil Gaiman. He's fantastic. I also read some George RR Martin, and Scott Lynch for fantasy fans.
Non fantasy books, I love the Alchemist, A Confederacy of Dunces, The Dark Tower series by King, and of course Harry Potter. Lame but true.

Myst, you read Dark Tower? That's awesome.
If so, are you currently reading the Dark Tower series that Marvel is publishing? They did a mini series 'The Gunslinger Born' and currently in the middle of 'The Long Road Home'. If you haven't, you should check them out.

Bah, liking Harry Potter isn't lame... it's escapism. Who wouldn't want to levitate things and ride ona dragon?
Did anyone hear that J.K. Rowling is planning a prequel? Supposedly it's going to reveal all these secrest about Harry from before he was at Hogwarts. You know I'm buying it.

Yeah I've been trying to keep up with the Dark Tower series Marvel is doing. I probably have missed the last couple of issues, but I got all of the first ones.
And I think the J.K. Rowling thing isn't like a book or whatever, its just one hand written copy that she's going to auction off or something like that.

Ergh, well that sucks.
Still, someone will post all the secrets online so I can read them, then re-read all seven books with my new found Harry-knowledge.

I like the potter prequel is a bad idea. Because then they'll make it into Muppet Babies and the Prisoner of Fozzy Bear - the movie.
Muggle Dad: Potter, you limey fuck.
Potter: WOCKA WOCKA!

I would totally watch that movie. As long as Baby Scooter is in it.

I finally started reading something Daniel told me to!
Do you know how annoying it is when your little brother is smarter and more well-read than you? Especially when you already consider yourself fairly smart and well-read?
Really annoying.
But seriously, Dan, great book.
