Name: Hexane
Nicknames: The Chemical Brother, Big Hexy, Xane
Hometown: Detroit, Michigan
Size: 6'11", 280 lbs.
Appearance: With the Most Dangerous Faction in Wrestling disbanded, Hexane has started to grow out his hair. Right now it is at the same length as Raven's hair, although much better kept. Outside the ring, he has been dressed more leisurely, although he still sports the stunning suits from the MDF days from time to time. He wears the labcoat again, but not as much as before. Inside the ring, Hexane still wears the long leather pants and the Hexane tank top. Hex remains the built behemoth he has been since joining EWA, and still retains the intense work ethic passed on to him from his mentor, Hoyakillah.
Theme Music: Enjoy the Silence by Depeche Mode. The song reflects a change from the ambitious times of the MDF to the quirky, yet driven theme that evokes the present era.
Wrestling Style: A big powerful high flyer/luchadore adept at power moves as well as a few technical moves. A Kevin Nash style big man meets Eddie Guerrero. Sometimes the high risk moves have been a cause of liability for Hexane. Hexane also has been weak at fighting opponents adept at technical styles. He has also been involved in a number of hardcore style matches, which are not a specialty of his, but Hexane has had success with them.
His matches are generally fast paced for a big man, because nobody really likes the slow, dragging matches that guys like the Undertaker and Kevin Nash are known for.
Heel/Face: After having been a heel for so long, it's difficult to imagine him not being a heel. But with the MDF disbanded, and the OutKasts having taken over as the dominant heel group for quite awhile, how long will Hexane be a heel?
Signature Moves
The Atomizer: Big Boot to the Face. Explosive like Kevin Nash when he feels like actually looking good in the ring.
The Stent: Jumping Spinebuster, similar to Arn Anderson's old finisher. In real life, a stent is used to clear arteries of blockage, such as cholesterol. It is often inserted using a lead, into the inner thigh, and goes up through the aorta to the heart area. When it penetrates the blockage, the stent inflates and compresses the blockage to the sides of the artery. This is what is known as angioplasty. The lead carrying the stent is removed, and the artery is clear again for blood flow. This has nothing to do with the move, but I thought you'd like to know where the name came from.
The Chemical Explosion: A Samoan Drop, often times near the corner. This move can set up either the Chemical Splash, or for The Bottom Line, where Hoya can do the Manic Compression, and Hex can complete the Chemical Splash.
The Eyewash: An old favorite move, the Swan Dive Headbutt from the top rope
The AAD: A forward Russian legsweep, a technical move learned under Hoya, and similar to Jeff Jarrett's Stroke finishing maneuver. Also a setup for the The Rings of Hexane. (AAD stands for one of the chemicals I always use in the lab)
The Acid/Base Reaction: Power Spear. A definite favorite and basic move for Hexane.
Electrolysis: Electric Chair Suplex/Drop. A power move usually associated with high flyers. Perfect for Hexane.
The Sterilizer: Low Blow, either trick knee or conventional. A heel always needs this in their arsenal.
The Chemical Burn: Booker T style Axe Kick. A power move with flair.
The Pipetter: Jackhammer. Another basic for Hexane. Not a finisher because...well, that would be boring.
The Injection Molder: Figure Four Leg Lock. Also done around the ringpost. Every Ric Flair mark's move.
The Rebel Chemicalana: Hexane does this move in a variety of ways. The first is where he walks the top rope like the Undertaker, but instead of coming down with a hammer onto the shoulder, Hexane leaps and does a hurricanrana. Another possibility is after an Irish whip on his opponent, sending him bouncing off the ropes. Hexane goes to the opposite ropes and bounces off them as well. When the two meet, Hexane leaps and does the Chemicalana. Sort of like the 3D, but with a Huarancanrana instead. The final possibility is the most spectacular. When Hexane appears dazed, and all seems to be lost, an opponent may leap at Hexane off the top rope or over the ropes onto the floor. Hexane will meet them in midair with his legs, and flip them over, completing the Chemicalana.
This move used to be a finisher, but after several matches where his opponent has kicked out of it, Hexane has switched it to a set up move for his other moves, such as the Chemical Splash or the Rings of Hexane.
The 32 Gauge Scalpel: The Big Slow's Final Cut, although the move really is too weak to be anyone's finisher, much less Paul Wight's.
Tensile Tester: The STF.
Finishers:
The Chemical Black Eclipse: Powerbomb off the top rope, followed by a Senton Bomb (named after and given by Sky-High and Eclypse). This move has become a finisher due to the high degree of difficulty a move such as this will require. By combining the two distinct power and high flying moves, Hexane shows off both of specialties in this finisher.
The Chemical Splash: A 450 off the top rope. Sometimes through a table. Deadly considering the size of Hexane. Also used in The Bottom Line, a double team move..
The Grain Boundary Edge: Outsiders Edge sometimes off the top rope or into the ring post. Lately Hexane has been doing it into harder objects, such as the ringsteps and walls.
The Rings of Hexane: Another older move from the LWN days, brought back under Hoya's technical move tutelage. Similar to "The Rings of Saturn" used by Perry Saturn, however with a new twist: Hexane will cross his opponents arms across their neck then apply pressure using both his arms and legs. This effectively chokes out his opponents, while also putting pressure on both shoulder joints.
History: Will have an update soon, hopefully...
Hexane is a former LWN Champion now seeking bigger and better challenges in a new federation. Many know his story already, as they have seen him rise from the ranks of Jobberville to become a title holder. However, he knows that a new fed means a new ladder with a new set of rules. Hexane will do whatever it takes to become a champion again, this time in Extreme Wrestling Alliance.
Hexane started in the LWN efed with Ice and KottonBomb, forming a group called the Rebels. The three was soon a four when Lone Wolf joined. However, Wolf soon turned on the Rebels, joining with Amarantha and forming the Dark Covenent. The two groups had a legendary feud lasting many months, which saw many excellent matches, a breakup and reformation of the Rebels, titles, and importantly, a maturity in all participants.
However, Hexane began to grow tired of the Rebels, and broke off from the Rebels to gain titles and glory on his own. He had many excellent feuds with such prolific superstars such as Phreak, The Only F'N Show Mr. PPV, Archangel, and Rocky. Along the way, he earned respect from his competitors, and an appreciation from the fans.
It was after this time that Hexane joined the EWA due to the dismantling of the LWN.
During a feud with Marvelous Maxwell upon entering EWA, Hexane was revealed to be a homophobe, indirectly causing him to lose his other job in the Cow Chemical Corporation. Upon losing his job, he joined with Hoyakillah to form the Most Dangerous Faction in Wrestling. This faction has gone on to be the target of nearly all the big names in the EWA. For more info on the MDF, check out the faction description.
A long and memorable feud between the Most Dangerous Faction and the Tenuous Alliance ensued, with one of the focal points of the feud being between Hexane and Falstaff's Honor. The feud has had many high points, one of which being a Match of the Year winner during the final of the InterGlobal Championship tournament set in an Elizabethan Cage at Rise Before the Fall. After a match of legendary proportions, Hexane emerged victorious to claim the IG title. Nonz and Myst, MachineHead, have surfaced as fierce rivals to the Most Dangerous Faction in Wrestling. Also, with the formation of the Foundation, a new group has come about to contend with the MDF.
Hexane has begun to question himself about his tutelage under Hoyakillah. He has displayed his desire to become EWA World Champion, and wonders if that will ever be possible as a lieutenant under Hoyakillah. To compound matters, Hexane has begun to wonder if Hoyakillah and the MDF have been holding him back behind the scenes from reaching his true potential. Hoyakillah's paranoia has seemed to rub off on Hexane. Where will all of this lead? Aside from the MDF, Hexane has no friends in EWA...
Titles Held:
EWA InterGlobal Champion: Won at Rise Before the Fall over Falstaff. Hexane put Hoosier Daddy/Myst into a coma, thus vacating the title. A tournament was held to decide the next IG champion, which culminated into a brutal Elizabethan Cage match against Falstaff which won the first Match of the Year award ever in the EWA. Lost to Myst on Onslaught.
LWN InterPostal Champion: The last one EVER! Won from Archangel at LWN Lightning May 1, 2000 I think.
LWN DVDPost Champion: Won during a tag team title for title match against Lone Wolf and Amarantha in March? Lost to Phreak (now QPublic) at LWN Alliance Games.
ICW World Heavyweight Champion: twice.
