Name: Dan Farrell
Height: 6'1"
Weight: 232 lbs
DOB: 8/13/78
Hometown: West Chester, Pennsylvania
Theme Song: "Sabotage", performed, of course, by the Beastie Boys
Status: Face
Alliances: None
Physical Appearance: Dan has a fairly average build compared to most men of his size. He wears his dark brown hair parted in the center. Blue eyes...lets call them "azure" to be more descriptive. No facial hair, but if he's been out drinking the night before, he'll usually have stubble growing. Also woke up one morning
with a tatoo of an inverted crucifix above the words "Satan Loves You" on his right bicep.
Ring Attire: Dan wears the official Dan Farrell t-shirt. The front reads "DAN F'N FARRELL" and the back "If You Can Read This, You Need Another Beer" along with a picture of a crushed beer can. Dark blue long tights, with his tatoo on the outside of each leg in white. Black boots going about 3/4 of the way up his thigh, along with black elbow pads.
Wrestling Style: Three words: Drunken hardcore brawling. Dan doesn't know much about wrestling, but he does know how to fight.
Signature Moves: Los Paranoias-A whip of Dan's opponent into the ropes, followed by Dan springboarding off of the oppisite side, and hitting his opponent on the way back with a DDT variant.
Hello, Goodbye-Counter move, Dan leapfrogs over his opponent and hits a neckbreaker.
Lightning Crashes-Basically, the Sky-High powerbomb.
Selling the Drama-Diving reverse DDT, a la Christian.
Silver Hammer-Double underhook flip suplex.
Day Tripper-An arm wrench, followed by a knee to the stomach and an implant DDT. Arm is kept in the hold throughout the move.
Shit Towne-Modified cradle piledriver in which opponent is in the tombstone position with the cradle.
Face and Ghost-A spear.
Unsheathed-Hanging brainbuster.
Finishing Moves: Teenage Wasteland-Dan sets his opponent up like he's going to do a Dominater, but instead of just dropping his opponent, he comes down in an X-Factor like move.
Slave of Routine-3/4 facelock bulldog suplex.
Background: Dan's role in the wrestling world began in April 2000, when he became a booker for Insane Championship Wrestling, along with Scott Pearson (ScottiePP7), Mark McPhail (QPublic), and Gavin Mercury (Mercury...no, his last name isn't actually Mercury). The roster had recently suffered a max exodus of talent, and the new booking team was relied on to return ICW to its glory days.
The head booker, Mercury, seemed reserved in his ideas, letting Dan, Scott, and Mark run the federation. His role became less and less important, and he evetually quit the company. The ever popular Hey Kid was hired to take his job, and after an anti-LWN angle, or fiasco involving J'Pac and Phil Flate. The angle probably would have worked better had J'Pac and Flate actually been in ICW. After a short run, he left.
McPhail became head booker, and around that time, Dan resigned his post from the committee. Dave Dudley was his replacement, and Big Dave took over the head booker position while Dan retired to a roleplaying...uhhh...role.
Despite Dave's best efforts, the roster did not expand. However, the small group was talented, featuring such stars as Amalek, Dudley, QPublic, Andrew Attitude, Matt Dawg, Clark Steele, DKnoch/Twisted Crazy, amongst others.
Eventually, the rag-tag ICW put out a PPV, To Hell and Back. The PPV featured a variety of things, including the main event for the World Championship, Amalek versus Dave Dudley. After a hard fought match, Amalek retained his title, even kicking out of the 4D in the process. Immediatly following was a battle royal to determine the number one contendership to Amalek's championship.
Near the end of the battle royal, a masked entrant hit the scene and picked up the win, then revealed himself to be Dave Dudley. Amalek and his Triple Threat hit the ring, and in a horryfying attack, burnt the ring with Dudley in it.
Not long after, ICW folded.
Looking for a job in the wrestling world, Dan got in touch with an EWA contact, Dan Hampton, and secured one. He also brought in old friends Amalek and Clark Steele. After a short feud with Night, Dan won the big man's hardcore championship, and dropped it not long afterwards to Eclypse. After some discenion with Hampton, the partnership of the two was solidified when the two united against Team Broctoon, Myst and Supa Sky. Dan captured the Interglobal Title in a triple threat match with Myst and Steele, and recently retained it against Myst at the Love and Warfare PPV.
Title History: Hardcore title, from Night to Eclypse
Interglobal title, from Myst to Jake Hero
