Five-time EWA World Heavyweight Champion
First reign: Defeated Dave Dudley at May 15 Monday Night Massive. Lost belt to Ice at June 19 Massive. Reign: 35 days.

Fifth reign: Defeated Kayfabe at November 29 Massive. Lost to Myst at January 2 Massive. Reign: 33 days.
Entrance Music: "Tin Soldiers"- The Mighty Mighty Bosstones
Entrance: Nothing fancy. Lights dim a little bit, a reddish hue brightens the arena, and the music hits and Dan comes out to the predictable anger.
Alignment: Heel
Style: Hardcore high-flyer.
Signature Moves:
The Last Dance: A flying hurracanrana off the top rope.
Cinnamon Toast CRUNCH: A moonsault through a table.
2445: A sequence of five snap suplexes followed by a bridge after the fifth.
Brain Surgery: A double-underhook brainbuster.
D eath Machine: A release Northern Lights suplex off the top rope.
Punk in Drublic: the Mexican surfboard
STFUplex: a Dragon Suplex...
Into The Void A wheelbarrow suplex--the victim is on the mat, Hampton comes behind and applies a waistlock, and performs a German suplex.
Rated R: a combination of the Van Daminator and Terminator. He stands on the apron and tosses the opponent a chair, then springboards off the top turnbuckle and dropkicks the chair into the opponent's face.
The Kids Are Alright: a running fame-asser, usually onto an open chair or something else painful. Mostly a move done out of desperation.
Mewdan Clutch: The Tazzmission. Occasionally, against a smaller opponent, Dan will momentarily lift them off the ground, keeping the hold locked in.
The Berlin Project: First he performs a Tiger Driver, then grasps his opponent's legs and turns it over in a sharpshooter.
Finishing Maneuvers
Crucifixion: Hampton lies on his back and wraps his legs around the opponent in a body scissors. He then takes both arms and hooks his arms around them and pulls, and the opponent looks like he's being crucified.
Summer in the Hamptons: A Pheonix Splash(450 splash with a twist)
Quadrophenia: He props the victim up on the top turnbuckle, facing away from the ring. Then, he follows them up and wraps his arm around their neck, in a reverse front facelock. He then leaps back off the turnbuckle, with a reverse implant DDT a la Christian
Background Information: Growing up on Long Island, in a well-off family, Dan Hampton was only mildly interested in wrestling. To him, it was a hobby, something he watched for fun. Gradually, he began to get more and more into it, finally deciding, at the age of 15, that it was his calling to be a wrestler. His parents supported him, and paid for his training at one of the best, most exclusive wrestling schools in Japan. He worked his ass off, and became one of the best known amateur wrestlers in the country--at 17. But amateur wrestling wasn't as popular as professional wrestling in Japan, and Dan knew that was the way he'd have to go. His debut, against some no-namer from Michinoku Pro, was quite disappointing, as Dan lost. The next few matches were just as disappointing, as more powerful wrestlers tossed him around like a rag doll. Finally, he decided to abandon his technical background and go HARDCORE. He incorporated a lot of high-flying moves into his arsenal, and instantly gained the respect, and sometimes the ire, of the other wrestlers. His breakout performance, though, was a 28-minute classic against Jushin Lyger. Even though he lost, he had gained the accolades of all the wrestling reporters in Japan. At 19, he left Michinoku Pro to finish his high schooling; and at 20, he found out about the EWA, and decided to join, to finally showcase his talents to the American crowds.
Within two weeks of joining the EWA, he won the World Title, and held the title for over a month, joining up with his former nemesis Dave Dudley, and then new commisioner Andrew Leigh along the way. He lost the belt to Ice, and friction began showing between the three. He won it again, albeit breifly, at July 2 Die, and promptly lost it to Sirius, increasing the tension between Dave, Andrew and Dan. He finally severed ties from them at the July 10th Massive, and an alliance with Healius had apparently been formed.
At Assault & Battery, Dan's opponent Dave no-showed, and Commissioner Healius placed Dan in the main event against Avatar and Mr. PPV, making him the only superstar in EWA to have headlined both PPVs at that point. He lost that night but continued his quest to reclaim the World Title, assuming a Taskmaster-like role in training Mr. PPV to fight Kallista, then promptly turned on him to win the belt at Onslaught on September 1st.
Unfortunately, Kallista was the one to turn around and win the belt from Hampton. He began a tumultous, and VERY drunken quest to re-win his title, and brought Mr. Ubiquitous himself, Dan Farrell, into the EWA. His quest for his unprecedented fourth World Title reign was fulfilled at the October PPV, Rise Before the Fall. His fourth title reign was cut short, however, when Kayfabe took advantage of interference on the part of a certain Hoyakillah and won the belt on October 25.
A sad, and not very promo-filled, month followed, in which Dan hurt his head and decided to cut back on his drinking(egads!). Improbably, the lack of al-kee-hol did Dan some good, and he came back recharged and ready to kick some ass! On November 30, with the help of Dan Farrell, and through the vicious attacks of the MDF, Dan beat Kayfabe and regained his EWA World Title, much to the fans' and Scott Baio's delight. Well, maybe not Scott Baio, but he really doesn't matter anyways.
And so it comes crashing down. Myst managed to get the best of Dan on the January 2 Massive, due to a few things: the interference of "special referee" Amalek and the stunning, traitorous turn of Dan Farrell. And Scott Baio, because he's to blame for everything.
Finally, Dan returned from a short hiatus just in time for his PPV match against his newfound enemy Dan Farrell, and perhaps greater things? Who knows....
And who could've predicted what happened next. He hooked up with that lovable gang of misfits, the ACTION FACTION! After several lackluster months, however, the group decided to go their seperate ways. Sky retired, Eclypse went back to the shadows, Ziggo went back to MAULIN fools, and everyone else went back to a normal, off-screen life. As for Dan, he just stayed in EWA, with no guidance or sense--
D an: Kinda like a Rob Schneider movie!
--and he became an angry bastard. He now bitches that the EWA sucks and should go back to the way it was before, in the golden age of e-wrestling. Whatever, Ben.
Blah blah blah, fed closes, re opens, no one cares, he's aligned with Dave Dudley now and no one likes them. Except for their mothers.
Allies...well, none really at this point... except for that strange enigma, Michael Cole
Enemies...a lot. Kayfabe, Mr. PPV, the Outkasts, the MDF, Hoya if he's still alive, hell, why not throw Myst in there, Amalek too, now Dan Farrel as well and, oh yeah, he hasn't been on the best of terms with Omega X ever since he said OX was "gay". Other than that, he's a pretty likable guy, who doesn't have any warrants out for him...at this point.
Character Concept:Formerly the biggest heel in the EWA, he has turned face after turning on Dave Dudley and Co-Commissioner Andrew Leigh. His age leads many of the other main eventers to dismiss him. His hardcore, high-flying style also leads the other EWA superstars to dismiss him as nothing more than a gimmick wrestler. He talks a lot of trash, but can back it up in the ring. Power wrestlers do tend to give him trouble though; the same with superb mat technicians. Because of his background in amateur wrestling, he can perform some standard submissions, but nothing more than listed here. Lately, his face turn has resulted in a few instances of drunkedness with Healius, but there's nothing wrong with that. Also has an insatiable lust for breakfast cereals of all kinds, but mainly Cinnamon Toast Crunch and Froot Loops. After alienating a lot of his friends as of late with his egotistical attitude, he had found a few new friends that he gets along with so well.. and then they decided to form their own faction, the ACTION FACTION! But that didn't work out, so Dan said "fuck it"--
D an: Fuck it!
--got himself some new, angry theme music, and now is very bitter. God knows why.
MANAGER!
Name: MICHAEL COLE!
Stuff: Michael Cole is the same Michael Cole we all know from WWF Smackdown! He's a fun guy, but everyone makes fun of him. Then again, he probably deserves it. Seen most frequently on the couch of THE TONIGHT SHOW WITH DAN HAMPTON!, playing Ed McMahon to Dan's infinitely cooler Johnny Carson.
