all animal cops. animal precinct (new york city aspca cops), animal cops houston, detroit, they never play san francisco anymore. there was a special of animal cops in part of africa. and there's a new one coming in october called k9 cops. it's all about cops using their k9 fellow officers to catch the bad guys.
now with the current versions of animal cops, i'm telling you: if you're an animal lover, there is nothing like watching some stupid fuck get cuffed for beating or neglecting his dog. these people honestly have no clue that animals have feelings too.
it's sad sometimes, the dead dogs or horses, the hoarders living in houses with 80 cats and the floors are inches deep in feces and urine, but it's great to see a) the animals get saved, taken out of horrible situations and found loving homes and b) assholes get arrested to neglecting or mistreating their dogs.
i'm the idiot who actually cheers when they arrest people for pit bull fighting or cock fighting. you want reality tv? animal planet has it. fuck all that other shit.

yes, i forgot about miami.
i saw this episode of animal precinct where someone (an 'informant') had told the aspca that some guy had somehow cut off two inches of his pittie's tail during a domestic dispute. they finally got him to admit to it: turns out he was having a fight with his girlfriend and threw a weight (like the ones you put on barbells or dumbells) and it landed on the dog's tail and severed it two inches from the tip. and he did NOTHING about it.
they ended up having to amputate an extra two inches of the pittie's tail, because the wound had been left open and the tailbones were infected. and his ass got arrested.
i like in houston too, people seem to think that 'owning a horse' means 'keeping it somewhere and checking on it once in a while'. they're always seizing horses that are malnourished and underweight, or sick and injured. and the owners are like 'no, i feed him everyday' even though the fucking horse is like 300 pounds underweight. and then they don't understand why they're being arrested.
they don't get enough jailtime. usually it's just a fine, community service, probation, and/or they can never ever own animals again. i want to see more jailtime, especially for neglected horses because you have to do ALOT... actually, you have to NOT do alot.... to have a horse be 300 pounds underweight.
