The scene opens with one Seamus O'Malley, whiskey in tow, sitting in a wooden chair in a dimly lit room....
Well. What does one say in response to such overzealous words? You know nothing of me. Oh, but on the contrary, I know EVERYTHING of you.
You see...Man, is it? I've been...incapacitated, for quite some time now. I may not have been there to witness the events that have unfolded in the world of wrestling first hand over the past few years. But I have been watching. Waiting, if you will.
You are correct on one thing, however. The past is meaningless. Most of all in my case. My past means nothing. There is nothing I can say or do to change anything that has happened. That is not to say that the demons of yesteryear don't come knocking once in a blue moon. But, then again, that's what the whiskey is for. To keep the demons at bay.
My past was stolen from me, but I AM the future. I do not focus on loss, for I have become accustomed to it. I have lost everything in my life. One might venture to say I have nothing left to lose.
In closing, I would like to rebute one final matter. Hopes and fears, you say? I lost hope many years ago, and I have nothing left to fear. All of my greatest fears have been realized. What can YOU, of all people, possibly DO, or even SHOW to me that I haven't seen literally HUNDREDS of times before? You are just like every other veteran in this industry....you think you are indestructible. Come September 24th, I will EMBELLISH the oppurtunity to prove you, and the rest of you washed up wanna-bes, what the future of this industry holds.....
O'Malley rises to his feet, and walks out of the room...
